In his movie, the star – who became famous in the 1980s – said that he angers other musicians with his popularity.

And he also said he is very disciplined as he practices every day.

‘I’ve also seen the reaction when I perform,’ he said.

‘I know how much I’ve practiced. So I’ve got 99 percent all great things telling me that, that what I’m doing is great. And that little tiny 1 percent, it doesn’t mean a lot to me.’

He continued, ‘And it hasn’t since the ’80s. It’s never really meant anything. It’s nothing I haven’t seen, and I’ve already ignored it for almost 40 years.’

Kenny majored in accounting at the University of Washington in Seattle, which has given him an edge when it comes to his finances.

Many musicians lose their money when climbing the charts, but not Kenny, who has done well.

‘I never understood how people got screwed over,’ Kenny said. ‘It’s like, just pay attention. It seems pretty easy. A plus B equals C. … You should have about this much. And if you don’t, then there should be a problem. It’s like … like most artists, just want to say, ‘I’m gonna let them handle this.’ I like to be hands-on.’

In 2019, Kanye surprised Kim with a room full of roses and Kenny performing in their mansion on Valentine’s Day.

Kenny shared he was asked to ‘serenade Kim’ just one day prior to Valentine’s Day.

Speaking on Extra, the music legend said: ‘The night before I just got some text messages and some emails from a publicist and another friend, David Foster.’
