Jodie Turner-Smith gives rare glimpse at family life as she shares snap of husband Joshua Jackson comparing feet with their baby daughter Janie
Jodie Turner-Smith and her husband Joshua Jackson became parents for the first time after welcoming their daughter Janie last April.
And the 35-year-old actress gave a rare glimpse at family life with the one-year-old in a sweet daddy-daughter snap shared to her Instagram on Friday.
In the photo, Jackson, 43, compared his adult-sized foot to that or their baby girl’s tiny foot by pressing them together for the shot.

‘i’m most thankful for you,’ captioned Jodie, who went on to tag her husband of nearly two years in the post.
The post, which did not feature their daughter’s face, has since garnered over 30,000 likes and more than 200 comments from fans and friends of the couple.
Jodie and the Dawson’s Creek alumnus started dating in 2018 before quietly marrying in December 2019.
Just four months later, the newlyweds welcomed their daughter Janie, who they’ve done their best to keep out of the public eye.

Earlier this year, Jackson appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he revealed that Jodie had proposed to him.
‘She asked me on New Year’s Eve,’ he told the host. ‘We were in Nicaragua – it was very beautiful, incredibly romantic, we were walking down the beach, and she asked me to marry her.’
It was truly a whirlwind engagement being that it occurred just two months into their relationship.
Joshua gushed that his decision to accept Jodie’s proposal was the ‘best choice I ever made.’

The lovely engagement story was met with criticism, which prompted the Little Fires Everywhere actor to fireback at ‘racist and misogynist’ critics in a Refinery29 interview.
‘So I accidentally threw my wife under the bus because that story was told quickly and it didn’t give the full context and holy Jesus, the internet is racist and misogynist,’ began Jackson.
He clarified that although he’d accepted Turner-Smith’s proposal, he also wanted to perform a proposal of his own.
‘What I didn’t say in that interview was there was a caveat, which is that I’m still old school enough that I said, “This is a yes, but you have to give me the opportunity” to propose as well.’
Last month the British-born model turned to social media to share a factoid about domestic life with Jackson.
‘Every morning @vancityjax takes baby duty, giving me the option of staying in bed for as long as I want! Though I rarely stay very long, not having to spring out of bed in the mornings does wonders for my mental health,’ she wrote across a selfie.
