Jeremy Clarkson recently urged fans to write to Amazon if they wanted to see another series as he claimed it wasn’t down to him. Today, the car enthusiast turned farmer confirmed their wishes had been seemingly listened to and a new series was in the pipeline.
The Grand Tour star took to Twitter to confirm the news, filmed by his co-star Kaleb Cooper.
He said to the camera: “Following the success of the first series, I am delighted to say that there will be a second series of Clarkson’s Farm.”
“You mean Kaleb’s farm?” his co-star jokingly chimed in.
Jeremy shrugged off his colleague’s suggestion and confirmed the full team will be back including his partner Lisa Hogan.
The 61-year-old previously told fans there were no plans for another series.
He replied to a fan at the time WHEN: “No. We aren’t. Write to Amazon, it’s their decision.”
Fans swiftly flocked to Twitter to ask the steaming service to make it happen.
One wrote: “@PrimeVideo pleasepleaseplease it was the best thing I’ve seen all year.”
Another commented: “@primevideouk @AmazonUK what on earth are you doing?! Get series 2 signed off, now! @JeffBezos.”
