While it’s not thought to be the Clooney family’s main place of residence for their stay Down Under, they are believed to be using the superyacht to travel in style – or to spend time together when George isn’t filming.

George, Amal and the twins are said to be staying at Hamilton Island’s Papillon house; a seven bedroom, seven bathroom mansion designed by renowned architect Chris Beckingham.

Set on the quiet northern end of the island, Papillon is a short buggy ride to all of the island’s key attractions.

According to Nine News, Amal was spotted in a buggy earlier this week after visiting a day spa on the island.

The vast home is set on 2,661sqm of land – meaning guests can enjoy the ultimate in privacy and seclusion.

Meanwhile, George’s co-star Julia Roberts is rumoured to be staying at Qualia on Hamilton Island.

Julia would likely stay at the resort’s private north-facing Beach House which boasts private lap pool and secluded location.

The Beach House features a main bedroom and en-suite bathroom, a spacious entertaining area, 10-person dining room and a 12-metre infinity edge private pool.

It also features a well-appointed separate guesthouse for friends or family.

In Ticket to Paradise, George and Julia play a divorced couple who travel to Bali in a desperate bid to stop their daughter, played by Kaitlyn Dever, from getting married.

The movie will be filmed entirely in Queensland, with the picturesque Whitsundays doubling for Bali.
