Elle Fanning’s dress left little to the imagination at LACMA’s tenth annual Art+Film Gala on Saturday evening.

The actress, 23, leaned into her inner goth by gracing the red carpet in a revealing black tulle gown that was purposely gathered to expose her pale white skin.

Fanning wore a strapless black bra and matching high-waisted hot pants to protect her modestly, as well as to add a bit of depth to the see-through number.

Fanning accessorized with a large, red boutonnière on top of the left side of her collar bone and dark red lipstick.

Her blonde hair was pulled back tightly behind her head which highlighted her bright green eyes.

The Maleficent actress took dozens of pictures on the red carpet but chose to keep a hint of a smile on her lips for most of them instead of showing her pearly whites.

The LACMA Art+Film Gala returned as an in-person occasion on Saturday after being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the safety precautions that went along with it.

Fanning attended the event alongside a number of other megastars including Miley Cyrus, Evan Longoria and Steven Spielberg who is being honored at the event.

Gucci continued its partnership with the beloved Los Angeles art museum by returning as this year’s sponsor. It comes amid the luxury brand’s 100th Anniversary.

Audi also lent support to the annual event.

According to LACMA, all of the proceeds garnered from the gala ‘go toward underwriting LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission.’

This mission includes ‘exhibitions, acquisitions, and educational programming, in addition to screenings that explore the intersection of art and film.’

Since its inception, the Art+Film Gala has honored the likes of directors Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, and Clint Eastwood, as well as the likes of artists Betye Saar, Catherine Opie, and John Baldessari.
