Denise Welch pulled out all the stops for her 20th annual Charity Ball in Manchester on Saturday night.

The Loose Women panellist, 63, dazzled in a low cut scarlet gown that cinched her in at the waist and showed off her ample cleavage.

She accessorised with matching shoes, earrings and even a necklace all in the same shade of red as her dress.

She wore her signature white hair artfully tousled and laughed with glee as she posed for photos alongside Coronation Street stars Katie McGlynn and Jane Danson.

Katie, 28, put on a busty display in an elegant strapless black gown that emphasised her svelte waist.

She wore her brunette locks in neat curls that tumbled over her shoulders, and added a classic red lip to bring colour to her black ensemble.

Meanwhile Jane looked stunning in a black floral dress, adorned with red roses and boasting a quirky cut-out neckline.

The actress, 43, completed her look with a pair of black heels and a coordinating black clutch. 

Joining them at the event was fellow Corrie star, Sue Devaney, 54, who performed Edith Piaf’s No Regrets on stage.

It comes after this week Denise made an emotional return to Loose Women and teared up as she discusses losing her dad, who was a former drag queen, and watched a special tribute to him created by the show.

The actress admitted: ‘It’s been very, very tough!’ and said that she hadn’t felt ready to return to Loose Women until now and praised producers for being extremely compassionate and respectful.

Denise explained how her father had experienced dips in his health before being taken into hospital, and admitted: ‘We felt we’d loved him back to health.’

She also revealed that her family threw a party in her late father’s honour, and admitted with a smile: ‘He would’ve been so peed off he wasn’t there!’

Denise also lauded Loose Women for giving him some comfort as she explained through tears: ‘He watched this show, he watched it in his final days.’

The returning star was then surprised by her fellow panellists with a heartwarming compilation video of her father Vin’s best bits from appearances on the show.
