Craig-Revel Horwood gushed on Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing that he wants to teach his fiancé John Whaite and his partner Johannes Radebe’s Rumba for their wedding dance.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge, 56, gave incredible feedback to the couple and it even inspired him for his special day where he will wed partner Jonathan Myring.

The couple met on Tinder and got engaged in March 2020 during a holiday to Tasmania, before announcing the happy news the following month.

Speaking in his feedback to their dance where they performed a lively Rumba to Sting’s Shape Of My Heart, Craig said: ‘Wow! I will teach my fiancé this for my wedding dance!

‘I thought it was absolutely gorgeous, you could have a straighter leg but I totally loved it, it was brilliant.’

Motsi added during the feedback session: ‘I felt like there was just the two of you and me. It was so subtle and sensitive it was great to watch.’

Shirley, who has been hailed as the ‘Rumba queen’ said: ‘I felt moved and quite emotional really, your precision is amazing, you stripped it down and it was great.’

Speaking after the dance and holding back tears, John said: ‘I didn’t think I would get the chance to do this dance, I was so emotional at the start of the week, this dance is about mutual respect and the movement and to do it with this man is amazing.’

They scored an impressive 35, the highest Rumba of the series, which left them third on the leaderboard.

Topping the leaderboard are AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington after their amazing Charleston which scored 39 while Tom Fletcher and Amy Dowden sit at number two after scoring 38 on their Paso Doble.

Craig is reportedly set to marry Jonathan at one of the most haunted places in the UK.

The star is said to be tying the knot with his horticulturalist partner, 35, at a church near Rutland Water, in an area once known as Witches Heath, which was said to be known for being a witchcraft hotspot.

The area dates back to the 1800s and is believed to have been a meeting place for witches.

While Witches Heath, which surrounds the church, has a history of ghost sightings and murder.

An insider told The Sun’s TV Biz column last month: ‘This will no doubt come as a surprise to Craig, who probably didn’t pick the location for its supernatural history, more its natural beauty.

‘Thankfully, he also has a great sense of humour so won’t see it as a hurdle to getting married there, unless he’s been hiding a deeply superstitious streak.’

MailOnline contacted representatives of Craig for comment at the time.

Craig previously told of his wedding venue and plans to move to his partner’s home town, stating to Daily Mail: ‘It’s in August 2023. We’ve booked the venue, which is gorgeous.

‘It’s going to be on Rutland Water because we’re moving to Northamptonshire, where Jonathan is from.’

Last year, Craig announced he and Jonathan were postponing their nuptials to 2022, saying he wanted to avoid a small COVID wedding in favour of a huge bash with lots of guests.

Discussing the decision to do so with Best Magazine, he added: ‘We’re now planning to tie the knot in 2022. As you know, much of 2020 went out the window, it just disappeared.

‘But it’s been good for us for wedding planning. We know that we definitely want to have our big day at home, here in England.’

Speaking in 2020 about the change of nuptial plans, he explained: ‘I want it to be big and fun, not a COVID wedding with five people there. It’ll take a couple of years to plan it, but we’re not in a rush.’

The happy couple got engaged in March 2020 after his husband-to-be proposed during a trip to Tasmania, and Craig added: ‘Then I’d love to jet off to the Maldives, then perhaps return to Tasmania on our honeymoon.’

Going on to talk about the possibility of having a family with Jonathan, he went on: ‘I’m not ruling out kids, but I’m 55 and I’ll be 56 in January.

‘I’m getting a bit long in the tooth. Having said that, Elton John managed it, so why not? Never say never.’

In April that year, Craig revealed they were engaged and admitted he can’t wait for the couple to spend ‘the rest of their lives together.’

Craig was previously married to wife Jane for two and a half years; the former couple exchanged vows in 1990 when he was 25 and she was 30.

But he recently admitted the marriage collapsed after he caught her in bed with another man.

‘Time was ticking. She wanted to have children and I thought, “Well, this is a really good opportunity,”‘ he told the Daily Mail in 2019. ‘I was both gay and straight, so being bisexual, it wasn’t a big issue for me or her.

‘We were two people who loved each other, coming together and wanting to have kids before it was too late. But then it ended in adultery. That was after two-and-a-half years.

‘When you find someone in bed with someone else and they say they are in love with them, that puts a dampener on it.’
