Cleaning star Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, became famous after sharing her cleaning tips and recommendations on social media and TV. The cleaning enthusiast has managed to gain over 4.1 million followers on Instagram. Now, fans of hers have created their own social media groups dedicated to cleaning and tidying tips.
On one of the groups, a Facebook user asked how to remove black mould from her property.
Sheilagh Lucas asked: “Tenants have just vacated my mother’s bungalow and due to a failure to ventilate the property, there is black mould everywhere.
“On the bathroom grouting, window frames, window sealant, and some paintwork.
“How do I use hydrogen peroxide to kill the mould? Or alternatively what products would you recommend and the best way to use them. Many thanks.”

Lyni Lulu said: “Definitely HG Mould Remover. Amazing product.”
Joanna Mellor suggested: “Any of the more expensive mould remover sprays are good, I’ve tried lots. Cillit bang and HG Mould Remover are good.”

Paula Sherratt said: “We had the same. My tenants almost wrecked my bungalow.
“I mixed equal parts white vinegar and warm water in spray bottles then added 40 drops of tea tree oil, 40 drops of citrus oil and mixed.
“Spray, leave for 30-40 mins and wash off.”
Lesley Taylor commented: “White vinegar…cheap, easy and excellent.”
Julia Charlton Buzzard said: “Cillit Bang Black Mould spray sorted mould spots in bathroom and mould marks on my son’s ceiling.
“Then spray damp seal available at B&Q.”
