Naga Munchetty was worlds away from her usual demure appearance on BBC news as she donned a sizzling black gown to the Ethnicity Awards 2021.

The BBC newsreader, 46, attended the star-studded ceremony at at Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in London on Friday evening.

Naga set pulses racings in a deeply plunging gown which flashed her cleavage as she posed for snaps unpon arrival at the annual event.

Naga’s low-cut wrap-style gown also boasted a daring thigh slit which flashed her toned legs as she posed for pictures on the red carpet.

The BBC favourite styled her ensemble with a pair of glitzy stilettos, but otherwise kept her simply but classic look accessory-free.

Naga added volume to her looks and sported a full pallet of make-up.

The annual Ethnicity Awards, held in association with sponsors HSBC UK was hosted by ITV News presenter Charlene White and took place against the backdrop of a race storm engulfing British cricket.

Celebrities and public figures, recognised as advocates who are working to progress equality, were honoured with accolades.

Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock received critical acclaim for her TV special exploring racism in the music industry, which aired in May.

Leigh-Anne  won the Ethnicity Award for her BBC documentary Race, Pop and Power.

The singing sensation accepted the award, insisting her fight for change has only just begun as she told fans: ‘The hard work doesn’t stop here!’

Leigh-Anne won a top accolade for her insightful documentary, in which she opened up about her own experiences of racism.
