Laura Hamilton, 39, has said sorry after one of her Instagram followers complained about her post addressing the “limited budget” her house hunters have been working with this week. The A Place In The Sun presenter posted a video speaking out on the backlash in view of her 133,000 followers today.
Filming herself enjoying the sun from Benalmádena, Spain, Laura insisted the house hunters she has been filming with for the Channel 4 programme weren’t “at all offended” by her remarks about their financial limitations.
She said: “How are you? I’m posting a story from Benalmádena, which has been the centre of our property search this week.
“Yesterday, I posted a story to say that we were in Fuengirola, and this week’s property search has been quite tough because we have a limited budget of £80,000.
“Now if anyone knows property prices on the Costa del Sol, they will know £80,000 is a difficult budget.”

She added: “Now, my house hunters are aware of that, they said that on camera.
“And we actually always say that to people on A Place In The Sun, if you watch the show, we give people a bit of a reality check of what they might expect to get in certain places for their budget.”
Despite making a valid point about the challenges surrounding the budget, Laura revealed that someone had sent her a message on social media to criticise her for being “not very nice” to the house hunters.
She continued: “Someone sent me a message and told me I wasn’t very nice to be telling people that it’s a small budget.
She showcased her gym-honed figure as her tan glistened in the scorching sun.
Laura wore a plunging swimsuit featuring a geometric pattern.
She accessorised with a pair of oversized sunglasses and showed off her vibrant red manicured nails in the photo.
Laura smiled for the camera while sitting at a table on a balcony in the holiday destination.
