Mike Brown wants Steve Borthwick to overlook fit-again Manu Tuilagi against Scotland in favour of a midfield duo of Fraser Dingwall and Henry Slade.
“I’d keep Fraser Dingwall and Henry Slade in midfield even with Manu Tuilagi fit,” the former England full-back told the Daily Mail.
“Dingwall is a ‘glue player’. He does his job very well, doesn’t make mistakes and brings the best out of those around him.
“The first quarter is going to be key. If England can shut Scotland down and their defence fires, they have every chance. If not, it could be a long day at the office.”
